The Maldives offers a Free 30-day Visa on Arrival for almost all nationalities, including Bangladeshis. You must have a passport valid for 6 months, a confirmed return ticket, and hotel booking proof. You are also required to fill out the online 'IMUGA' traveler declaration form within 96 hours of arrival.

Pack lightweight cotton clothing, at least two sets of swimwear, a high-SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, flip-flops, and a dry bag for boat trips. If you have a Go-Pro or waterproof camera, this is the place to bring it!

The Maldives is a Muslim country. On local islands, please dress modestly (bikinis are restricted to designated "Bikini Beaches"). Alcohol is prohibited on local islands but is freely available on private resort islands.

Carry some US Dollars (USD) for tipping and activities. While most places accept cards, using the local currency (Rufiyaa) for small shops on local islands can be slightly cheaper. Also, try to do your motorized water sports on local islands, as they are often more affordable than at luxury resorts.
