Meet at Kigali International Airport. City tour including the Genocide Memorial.
Scenic drive south through rolling hills. Visit the King’s Palace Museum en route.
Early morning Chimp tracking followed by an afternoon walk on the canopy bridge.

Rwanda is widely considered the safest country in Africa. Kigali is exceptionally clean and organized. The people are incredibly welcoming, and the security for tourists is world-class.
The Gorilla Permit is regulated by the government and costs $1,500 USD per person. While expensive, this fee goes directly toward the conservation of the gorillas and the development of local communities.
Gorilla trekking involves hiking through thick forests and hilly terrain at high altitudes. You don't need to be an athlete, but a moderate level of fitness and sturdy hiking boots are essential.
Rwanda has a strict ban on plastic bags, so ensure you do not have any in your luggage. Pack a high-quality raincoat and gaiters for trekking. Lastly, don't miss out on trying the local Rwandan coffee—it is among the best in the world!
